About: William P. Kilduff

William P. Kilduff, Esq.

William is a graduate of Colorado State University with a B.S. in Business Administration as well as The University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He is a licensed attorney in the State of Colorado and runs his own law practice, The Golden Law, LLC in Denver, CO. After graduating college William found himself washing cars in a suit, selling gym memberships, working construction and asking himself if this really was the American dream. If so, it wasn’t how he imagined. At 24 he took a look at his mother’s old guitar sitting in the corner. He had given up music as a 12 year old to play sports and had missed the creative outlet daily. He figured now was a good a time as ever to get back on the saddle and began to strum. A vocalist at heart, Will learned to sing and play 20 or so songs with in a 2 week period (all to the same strum pattern) and he was reacquainted with his old friend: creativity. In his second year of law school, he dedicated himself to learning the intricacies of the music industry, including management, contracts, and intellectual property in order to pursue a career in music on his own terms. An aspiring musician himself, he was frustrated with how far gone the industry had gotten. It seemed as though the more he learned, the more he saw the need for positive change; the industry needed a hug. In 2007 he founded Denver rock band Hot Cheeze Soup, through which he gained valuable experience and insight into the intricacies of a potentially beautiful industry gone awry. HCS released a record in 2010, Goodbye Lost Fly, and continued to play the Denver scene until 2012, when the band mutually decided to call it quits. Since law school graduation, William has spent a large chunk of time developing 501(c)(3) charity Optimus Youth (OY), which is dedicated to providing children around the world with essential, sustainable resources. OY was founded by a group of young people who unexpectedly united in order to expand an orphanage in Kenya. From there it has developed multiple youth-based projects around the world, including the OY Singer/Songwiter Series which involves recording artists writing, producing and distributing a song with the help of school children. Will was introduced to Rick and Ed through a simple contract negotiation and was instantly drawn to their mission. The creative compassion and goals behind Rock Garden Conspiracy intrigued him and he knew he needed to learn more. After a few brief conversations, he jumped on a plane to LA to meet the guys and officially become a member of the team as legal counsel. Will is excited to a part of something revolutionary.
