Mark Evans


Mark Evans started his professional Recording Engineering and Music Mixing career in 1977 in a small recording studio in the San Fernando Valley called Easy Street Recorders. While there he engineered almost every project that came though the doors, including “Byron Berline and Sundance”, “Kenny Loggins” and “Vince Gill”. Easy Street Recorders morphed into City Recorders of Hollywood. There Mark worked with many artists including “Anita Ward”, “Luther Rabb”, “AD Music” and “Bob Marley”. In the mid eighties Mark Recorded, Mixed and Produced over 600 songs for FM broadcast for Bonneville Broadcasting. In the late eighties Mark built Canyon Studios in Canyon Country, CA. Here Mark worked with many other artists including “Frankie Avalon”, “Ray Charles” and did extensive work with Grammy Award winning Composer “Victor Vanacore.” Over the past decade Mark has Mixed and Engineered Music for hundreds of Television episodes including: “Walker Texas Ranger”, ”Safe Harbor”, “The Love Boat”, “Enterprise”, “The Invisible Man”, “Survivor” and the animated series for Lucas Films “The Clone Wars”. In addition, Mark Recorded, Engineered and Mixed Music for Movies including: “Leprechaun”, “Tremors”, “Safe House”, “2 Fast 2 Furious”, “Wing Commander”, “The Other Side Of Heaven”, “Madison”, and “The Clone Wars”. Mark also Mixed the Music for the Video Games James Bond “Golden Eye” and James Bond “Legends”.

In 2013 Mark mixed and mastered,for Gold Pan Records/Rock Garden The single "Broken" For Aaron Ellis and then went on to mix and master his Album "Awakening" released April 2013. He has also mixed and mastered Colin Patricks new single "J Walking Saint" released May 2013. Along with the mixing and mastering on Rick Tucker's song "Natures little Miracle" arranged By Victor Vanacore.
